How to clear SBI Clerk exam - Overview:
To clear SBI Clerk exam, candidate has to go through two online exams:
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Mains Exam
How to clear SBI Clerk exam - About Preliminary Exam:
This section is a test of speed and accuracy, which are the criteria to qualify for SBI Clerk Mains exams. The interested candidates need to do a lot of hard work in order to improve their accuracy, speed and practice.
There is sectional time duration of 20 minutes for each sections (English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability).
To clear and qualify for SBI Clerk mains exam, candidate has to get the passing/cutoff marks decided by State Bank of India on the basis of the total candidates appeared and performance of the candidates.
There is negative mark of 1/4th for each wrong answer. And 1 mark is given for every correct answer.
How to clear SBI Clerk exam - About Mains Exam:
After getting the passing/cutoff marks in Preliminary Exam, the candidate has to pass this final Mains exam. The level of Mains exam is tougher than the preliminary exam. The SBI Clerk Mains exam consists of four sections - General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. Each sections has different individual time duration. The SBI Clerk Mains exam pattern is given below:
