1. Candidates must be aware of the RRB PO Prelims pattern:

2. RRB PO Prelims is all about speed and accuracy as the level of questions are pretty easy. There is composite time of 45 minutes, in which Reasoning (40 questions) and Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions) have to be attempted. Candidates must attempt approximately 2 questions in a minute in order to attempt all the 80 questions.

2. For Reasoning section, try to have a quick view of almost all the questions. Try to attempt the miscellaneous questions first, then move on to the easier puzzle or seating arrangement, which can fetch you collectively 5 marks. Don't waste more time on any questions. Move on to next question immediately.

3. For Quantitative Aptitude section, first look after the simplification questions, as they are very easy to attempt and you can fetch about 10 - 15 marks in almost no time. Quickly move on to quadratic equations or number series questions. Next move to the easier DI question and in order to save some time for bit tougher DI questions.

4. Never panic during the exam. If a question consumes more time, then quickly try to move on to other questions.
